𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 | 𝐒𝐇𝐓𝐌 𝐒𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐨

On October 3, 2024, 2nd-year students from the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) gathered for their culminating activity at Royce Hotel and Casino in Clark City, Pampanga.

The event was held in partial fulfillment of their course subject, Professional Development and Applied Ethics (CProfDev), and was organized by senior students enrolled in the CMICE course. This event aimed to showcase the sophomore students' skills in dining etiquette and proper grooming, topics they had covered in their classroom-based discussion.

The highlight of the event was the students' application of their learnings in a real-world setting, particularly in dining etiquette and grooming, crucial aspects of hospitality professionalism. Throughout the day, participants were observed as they demonstrated formal dining manners and the polished grooming standards expected in the hospitality industry.

As the night drew on, awards were presented to the best video presentations showcasing dining etiquette and grooming transformations, further highlighting the students' creativity and understanding of these subjects.

The Sprezzatura group from HTM 202 was hailed Champion in Dining Etiquette, followed by The Banquet Brigade (HTM 203) and The Glamour Dining Society (HTM 205) as 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.

Meanwhile, in the Grooming Transformation category, Glam & Groom (HTM 202) won the top prize, while The Opulence (HTM 203) and Neat Elite (HTM 205) secured 1st and 2nd runners-up.

The night was further elevated with the selection of Mr. and Ms. CProfDev. Recognized for their poise, personality, and adherence to the event's theme, Shaun Nikolai P. Liwanag from HTM 205 clinches Gentleman of the Night, while Althea C. Cabrera from HTM 202 grabs Darling of the Night.

The culminating activity was a successful glamorous celebration of the students' hard work and dedication, marking an important milestone in their journey toward becoming professionals in the hospitality industry.
