𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: 𝗖𝗖 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽

The Concierge conducted a comprehensive journalism workshop entitled “CC Roads in Journalistic Excellence” on August 15 at the STL Caseroom 2. The workshop aimed to enhance the writing and photography skills of the publication press members.

The workshop covered topics essential for effective journalism including the proper way of writing an article to the art of photojournalism.

The Editorial board and staffs of The Concierge were engaged in the process of news writing, learning how to craft concise and informative stories. The workshop also covers the topics of feature writing, and discovering techniques to create engaging and in-depth articles. Moreover, to further broaden their creative thinking, the workshop included sessions on literary writing, exploring the beauty of storytelling through prose.

In addition to honing their writing abilities, the Concierge photojournalist learned the technicalities and proper captioning in photojournalism. They learned how to capture clear images that complement their written work and effectively convey messages to the public.

The workshop administered as a practical opportunity for The Concierge press to develop their journalistic skills and contribute meaningfully to the publication’s journalism efforts.
